Ariel Lett, Esq. Lett Law's Managing Attorney is Ariel Lett, Esq. Mr. Lett brings broad experience to the Firm. Before founding Lett Law in 2007, Mr. Lett worked at both large and small defense companies for several years. While there, he was able to gain a firm understanding of how insurance companies work, how they think, and how they operate. He brings this experience to Lett Law, in order to work most effectively for you: The People. He will make sure that you are not taken advantage of through Bad Faith insurance companies.
In addition to his law firm experience, Mr. Lett also served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Darrin P. Gayles of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. As a federal clerk, Mr. Lett evaluated many cases and managed them, including writing numerous orders and opinions which resolved complex procedural and substantive issues. Mr. Lett has also litigated in the areas of trade secret law and non-compete laws.
Mr. Lett received his Juris Doctor at Michigan State University College of Law, where he was the recipient of a Trustee Scholarship. While in law school, he won a national championship in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition and several personal honors and awards in Moot Court & Trial Advocacy. He also served as an Associate Editor of the Michigan State International Law Review. Lett also won a regional championship as a member of the Michigan State Arbitration Team. Mr. Lett has completed an internship with the Honorable Victoria A. Roberts of U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan.
Prior to law school, Mr. Lett attended Northwood University where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration while on the Dean's List. He was also a part of the school's national championship mock trial team where he earned several personal awards, including an All-American Attorney Award.
Mr. Lett is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
